Create a free, accessible, action-focused circular economy course for Tasmanian communities.

We believe circular economy isn’t something for later or “someday.” It’s something you can start doing right now. Down here in Tasmania. In your community. In your life.
Why This Course Exists
Most circular economy resources are:
- Too academic – drowning in jargon, not helpful for real people
- Too global – examples from everywhere but your place
- Too expensive – costs money or requires signup
- Not actionable – lots of theory, no real steps to take
Circular Tasmania is different. We’ve designed this to be: Free. Clear. Local. Action-focused. And actually doable.

About Circular Economy Huon
Circular Economy Huon is a community initiative based in Tasmania’s Huon Valley. We believe circular economy is built from the ground up, not top-down.
We focus on:
- Community education – making circular economy accessible to everyone
- Local action – supporting initiatives right here in the Huon Valley and Tasmania
- Systems thinking – understanding how individual, community, and systemic change work together
- Real solutions – practical strategies that actually work
This course is our first big step: showing what’s possible when you make education free, accessible, and action-focused.

Circular Tasmania is a demonstration project. We’re testing and refining approaches to circular economy education. Our goal: prove it works, then scale it.
